Musings from a Ragamuffin

"Christianity is not a series of truths in the plural, but rather a truth spelled with a capital 'T'. Truth about total reality, not just about religious things. Biblical Christianity is Truth concerning total reality - and the intellectual hold of that Total Truth and then living in the light of that Truth." - Francis Schaeffer

Not The Brightest

I'm really not sure why I'm sharing this information, but...

I contribute monthly to the Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) organization and each month they send out a cd of Ravi speaking and occasionally (I think quarterly) I receive a newsletter of what is going on with the RZIM team. Well, about a month or two ago I received by disc and I attempted to play it in Davina's cd player in her car - no luck. So then I tried it in my car - same result. I've been trying consistently to play this disc and nothing. So this morning I decided to bring it to the office with me and try it on my work laptop - still won't play. The disc isn't scratched or anything, but the cd player won't recognize it. As I was taking it out of the cd tray in my laptop I noticed the words DVD on the disc. Duh...uh, yeah, I'm guess a DVD won't play in a regular CD player for the simple fact that it's a DVD...

Okay, have a good laugh, I did. :)

That did make me laugh because it sounds like something I would do! Glad you got it figured out. Hope it was worth all the trouble. : )

it was - i watched it last night and it was pretty good. although, i'm a bit biased when it comes to Ravi so i would most likely say anything by him is pretty good. lol

I can certainly identify with that! It seems that it's always the little things that get ya - like a semicolon missing in a long block of code - just won't work until all the details are just right... : )
