Dems da breaks...
Ah yes, if the picture is big enough you can see the break in the bone just behind the pinkie knukle of my right hand. That's right folks, my first official hand break - woo hoo. Good news is that the bone didn't shift after the break. It stayed put, so it's just a lot of immoblization of the hand until it heals. No cast, just splint and occasionally a sling to wear.

Congrats! Of course, hopefully there is a good story to go along with the "crooked" finger.
I too have a hairline fracture on my pinkie (left hand). The story is "blah" though...
unfortunately, i did not break it through any acts of courageous heroism, or displays of mighty feats.
i was attempting to save my work laptop from smashing down on the kitchen counter that had slipped through my hands. it was my one bit of self-sacrifice for the week. :)

thanks elizabeth. thankfully, there hasn't been a lot of pain. wearing the splint is more annoying than the actual break. i'm, guessing there is a story in there for that.
