I am teaching Tom's Wednesday night class this evening since he is out of town with the family. This kind of stuff always makes me nervous. :)

How'd class go? Nervous or not, you always do a great job...
It went pretty well. I used the idea of "reflecting" back on last year and over the course of the evening we read about 6 different scriptures, talked about the main idea of what the scripture was saying, and then reflected on how we experienced what it was talking about from others or how we were able to do the thing it talked about for others. For instance, we read Matthew 1:20-23 and at the end it says "God with us" - so I asked what that meant, then how were others "God with us" to us and how we have been "God with us" to others and how can we continue to do so in the coming year.
It was fairly simple stuff like that.
